  • Medchal, Hyderabad - Chambers: 6 Frozen and 3 Chilled
  • Patalganga, Navi Mumbai - Chambers: 7 Frozen and 3 Chilled
  • Rai, Delhi NCR - Chambers: 6 Frozen, 4 Chilled and Ambient 1040 pallets. 
  • Khurda, Bhubaneshwar  - 8 Frozen Chambers, Chilled Storage – 3000 MT


Balmer Lawrie in association with Visakhapatnam Port Trust, through the JV Company Visakhapatnam Port Logistics Park Ltd. (VPLPL) set up a state-of-the-art Multi Modal Logistics Hub spread over an area of 53.2 acres at Visakhapatnam. This facility has a Cold Chain Unit with total capacity of 3780 pallets. 

All the warehouses have PLC based refrigeration system with

  • 24x7 power back-up - 500 KVA DG Set
  • Complete firefighting system
  • 24*7 CCTV monitoring system

Balmer Lawrie LOGICOLD is one of the few organised players in the Cold Chain Logistics business offering its own fleet of Temperature Controlled Vehicles (TCV) that are capable of handling cargo within temperature range of -18 to +25 Degree Celsius and ensure timely last mile delivery. 

  • Fleet of all sizes of reefer trucks ranging from 800 kg to 16 MT complying to good distribution practice (GDP) 
  • All the TCVs are GPS enabled for real time tracking and has real time temperature monitoring system.
  • Meets all regulatory and Government compliances laid down by NCCD
  • All measures are taken to mitigate Pilferage, Damage, Leakage of Refrigerant to ensure safe delivery of product

Experienced reefer trucking staff with prior handling experience ensure safe transportation of perishables. Being a GOI enterprise, regular training sessions for warehouse and transport staff are conducted to ensure knowledge updation on SOPs and new developments.

  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) software for managing day-to-day warehouse activities effectively
  • Centralised SCADA system for automated operation of the refrigeration plant which helps to monitor real time storage temperature.
  • Reach Truck for loading and unloading of the products and Dock Leveller and Dock shelter.
  • Each of the warehouse has gas leak detection system with alarm, automated doors and emergency alarms and 24x7 CCTV surveillance
