Balmer Lawrie’s Leather Chemicals Business launches new products and Technical Service Centre

Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., the highly diversified PSE under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), launched three new Beamhouse chemicals – Balchem WH, Balgreasol SOC and Balsyn BLS; four new Fatliquors under its popular brand ‘Balmol’ – Balmol JX20, Balmol BGII, Balmol CFO 4 and Balmol SFO EC and four new Syntans – Balsyn EAR, Balsyn CSE, Balsyn SO FF and Balfil OFB on 10th March 2016. The products were launched by Shri D Sothi Selvam, Director [Manufacturing Businesses] during a Technical Seminar organized at Hotel Gee Kay in Ranipet. Present on the occasion were senior officials of Balmer Lawrie, customers and dealers.
 
The new state-of-the art Technical Service Centre (TSC) at SIDCO Industrial Estate, SIPCOT, Ranipet was also inaugurated by Shri Sothi Selvam on the same day. Balmer Lawrie has four TSCs in the major leather clusters of the country, which is Kanpur, Kolkata, Ambur and Chennai. The new TSC at Ranipet is the largest, and is well equipped with modern additional facilities to cater to the leather tanneries in the region.  The company is focused on product promotion and brand building programs to sustain its leadership position in the market and constantly provide high quality and cost effective tailor made solutions to the tanneries.

Key products include Synthetic and Semi Synthetic Fatliquors, Synthetic Tanning Agents, Leather Auxiliaries and Finishing Chemicals.
